Adding an Application (ResourceBlender Express)

To add an application, click Applications from the main menu.

The display name is the name used in forms and when editing the application. The application name is used when outputting to some formats (eg: Firefox) to generate the names of the resource files.

Applications must contain at least one language and, depending on the application type, one resource bundle. Resource bundles are used in different ways when generating different resource formats. Eg: When exporting to Java .properties, the bundle name and the language name are used to create a bundle_language-CODE.properties file. For .NET .resx resources, the bundle name represents a form or specific resource bundle.

Custom Language Codes

Custom language codes can be included by clicking Add Custom Language. This allows you to create language variants like en-BD which would otherwise not be possible.
